Dr. Amit V. Desai
Dr. Amit V. Desai received his Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University, where he majored in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He achieved his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then furthered his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. He established his practice in Cheshire in August 2004.
His devotion to dentistry as an art is evident in his commitment to continuing education. He is well versed in the newest techniques and offers his patients the most up-to-date procedures to help them achieve optimal dental health.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and local dental societies. He is past president of the Meriden/Wallingford/Cheshire Dental Society. Additionally, he is listed in Connecticut magazine as one of Connecticuts Top Dentists for 2010-2018. This honor can only be bestowed upon him by votes provided by his peers.
Dr. Desai resides in Cheshire with his wife and three children and he is active in community affairs.

Dr. Jake Wallach
A Connecticut native raised in Southington, Dr. Wallach earned his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Quinnipiac University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Danbury Hospital, where he received advanced clinical training and gained experience providing comprehensive care to patients with complex dental needs. Dedicated to serving his community, Dr. Wallach has volunteered with organizations including Remote Area Medical-USA, Connecticut Mission of Mercy, and Special Olympics Connecticut. He received the 2025 Brian D. Stone Memorial Award from the Dental Lifeline Network, recognizing his commitment to volunteerism, compassionate care, and improving access to dentistry for underserved and vulnerable populations. Outside the office, he enjoys running, hiking, playing pickleball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Wallach believes in providing compassionate and personalized dental care and strives to make every dental visit an enjoyable, stress-free experience by prioritizing patient comfort, education, and trust. He looks forward to getting to know his patients and helping them to achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles!
